I have been teaching ESL for over fifty years. Beginning as a Peace Corps Volunteer in North Africa, I taught ESL in elementary school and at a teacher training college and university in Tunisia. I also taught for several years in Saudi Arabia. In the United States I have taught at private and public schools in Washington, D.C. and Southern California. I also taught in the Intensive English Program at U.C. Riverside and U.C.L.A.
